This Privacy Policy explains how Trap Silicon ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use CTRL (the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

• Information you provide: your email address, your industry or domain, and any details you enter to configure your product.
• Payment information: processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your full card number; we receive limited transaction and subscription data from Stripe (e.g., email, tier, payment status, subscription ID).
• Technical data: standard server logs and a hashed (non-identifying) form of your IP address used only for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We do not store raw IP addresses in our application logs.

2. How We Use Information

• To generate and deliver your CTRL Configuration.
• To create and manage your license key and subscription.
• To process payments and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To communicate with you about your purchase and support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-Party Processors

We share information only with service providers necessary to operate the Service:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management (see Stripe's privacy policy).
• Vercel — website and application hosting.
• Infrastructure providers for storage and delivery of your Configuration.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Retention

We retain your license and subscription records for as long as your subscription is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your personal information (subject to records we must retain by law) by contacting us.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing (including under GDPR and CCPA). To exercise these rights, email admin@trapsilicon.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), secrets kept out of client-facing code, rate limiting, and signed webhook verification. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies

Our purchase pages use minimal, essential functionality. Our payment processor (Stripe) may set cookies necessary for checkout and fraud prevention. We do not use advertising trackers on our checkout flow.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy; changes are posted here with a revised date.
